Overview

What is on your team? If you're like most of us, and maybe you can name (Intel or AMD, Celeron or Pentium) processor, and possibly the amount of RAM memory you have, and maybe the hard drive size.
When you go to a computer store and see all the shiny PC arranged a bright side to side, most will have signs or posters refer to:
Make and model of the processor
Hard drive size and speed
The amount of memory (RAM)
Graphics card
OS
Later two or three years, when it comes time to upgrade your computer, that the mark or label can go long. Speccy has been designed as a "what's inside" sticker to your computer for free e.
This information is not in Windows?
Yes and no. Can be found on some of the basic information by right-clicking on My Computer, Properties, and then click. In some statistics tab, and management of devices on the Devices tab lists all the devices you have installed lists. But it lacks a lot of the information you need.
Speccy will give you detailed statistics on every piece of hardware on your computer. Including CPU, motherboard, RAM, graphics cards, hard drives, optical drives, and support for audio. Additionally Speccy adds different temperatures of the components, so you can easily find out if there is a problem!
Why do I need Speccy?
At first glance, it may seem like a Speccy application for system administrators and advanced users. This is, no doubt, but Speccy can also help normal users, in everyday life of the equipment.
If you need to add more memory to the system, for example, you can check how many memory slots your computer has and what memory is already installed. After that you can go out and buy the right kind of memory to add on or replace what you already have.
If you go to sell your computer, you can use Speccy to list ingredients quickly. Or, if you buy a computer, you can use Speccy to check that the computer has what the label says it has.
Also, Speccy is very useful for support. If you're on the phone with technical support and want to know what video card you have installed, no need to hunt around Windows. Speccy has all the information on the screen easier to understand.
